Overview

SLI’s DP v1.4a/eDP v1.4b Tx IP solution provides a complete DP/eDP transmitter function in compliant with VESA standard. The solution consists of two modules, a physical layer (PHY) and a controller module (PCS and Link). PHY is a hard macro supporting the data rate from 1.62Gbps to 8.1Gbps per channel, while the controller is configured as a synthesizable soft mcro. SLI’s IP solution enables customers to easily implement DP/eDP functions in SOCs for modern multimedia applications.
